Faith has movement, it has action. The Bible clearly speaks about the move of faith; it proclaims in James chapter 2 verses 17 and 26,
(17)”Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” (26)”For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead.”(KJV)
There really is a movement to real faith. It is alive and it builds and it creates. If the faith that we claim to have does not produce in us works of righteousness (including love, joy, and peace) then it is not real faith; it is not alive.
We might as well have a burial ceremony for our faith and consider it dead.
Why is this so?
This is true because faith has action to back it up, it is not just a confession or a proclamation. Don’t get me wrong; it may start out as a confession of faith or a proclamation. Yet, the confession of faith must be backed-up with actions. It is a belief system which demands EVIDENCE.
Faith is not just words alone.
How do we develop what the the great men of the Faith calls “the God kind of faith,” that (according to Romans 4:17),
“…the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.”(NIV)?
Lets start with a simple explanation of the move of faith given based on the special revelation of Jesus Christ given to a serious modern-day prophet of God by the name of David E. Taylor.
He quotes his mentor the late great Bishop G.E. Patterson (Leader of the Church of God in Christ) who said, “Faith is positive expectation surrounded by negative forces.”
Based on this understanding of faith, David E. Taylor explains that, “You can’t produce power without a negative.” He based this on the proton which is a subatomic particle in the nucleus of the atom with a positive charge that is equal and opposite to that of the electron (which is the negative force).
David E. Taylor continues by proclaiming , “God is saying, quit being negative. If you are made in the image of God, you can come back from anything.” (referring to the positive power having a faith that will move mountains and obstacles in our lives).
He, then, begins to explain how the Lord taught him to develop faith:
“Faith comes by hearing not talking.”
Taylor continues by saying, “You have to train your heart to believe. And how do you train your heart to believe? Through meditating; faith comes by meditation. See, this is where the cults have gotten into meditation. But meditation is something that God told us to do. Meditate on the Word. What? Day and night. You have to train your heart to believe. That is why some of you when you get in a battle, because you didn’t train your heart to believe, you start doubting.”
This is a powerful yet simple explanation of the process of the move of faith or how faith is developed in our hearts. Yes, it starts with the word of God.
If we ponder on a verse or verses of the Bible through-out our day, it might do wonders for our faith. We might well speak miracles into existence which is God’s expectation of the church. Remember Christ, Jesus proclaimed,
“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.(John 14:12 NIV)
We are to possess a faith that produces miracles, physical, mental, and spiritual healings. The move of faith will only come as we train our hearts to believe by meditating on the supernatural word of God.
Start your faith with a simple prayer to receive Jesus Christ into your heart. If you want to start the glorious journey of Faith, begin by saying something like:
“Jesus I, believe that you came into this world to rescue me from my sins which were leading me to a horrible place called, Hell.”
“You died on the cross to pay the price for my sins and your shed blood still cleanses from all unrighteousness. Lord, I ask you to forgive all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Come in to my heart and become my Friend, my Leader, and my Lord. I receive you right now as my Savior.” A-men
Please, let New Corinthian Ministry know that you have made this step of faith with a decision for Christ. The ministry wants to pray and celebrate with you. God Bless you!
