Divine Protection

Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.’ Psalms 121:4 (King James Version).

God is the ultimate bodyguard for His people.  Why?

  • He does not get exhausted.
  • He does not sleep.
  • And He will not slumber.

He is strong and attentive. The Psalmist picked-up on this fact as he explores the blessedness of divine protection.

Those who place their trust in God for their protection are able to obtain the ultimate protection. Human bodyguards only guard the body but they can give little cover to the mind and no protection for the soul. But this same psalmist discovers more in God as he says:

The Lord is thy Keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun will not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.’ Psalms 121:5-7 (King James Version).

What more can we ask for: He will guard our mind, our body, and  our soul. How; you might ask?

By putting your confidence in God’s ability and desire to give you His Divine protection, you, then, allow God to:

  • Keep evil thoughts, evil deeds, and evil personalities at bay.
  • Put an angelic watch over your body.
  • And fill your soul with His Holy Spirit which is also the Spirit of Christ.

This is why you may hear the personal testimonies and eye-witness accounts of some people who are able to miraculously escape dangerous situations.  THEY PUT THEIR TRUST IN GOD.

In His Divine Protection. A-men

You have the opportunity to do so today. If you have not already asked the Lord, ask Him right now to come into your heart and life. Ask Him (Jesus) to be your personal Saviour and Lord.

Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and cleanse you with His blood. He promises that if you ask believing like a little child believes, He will enter your heart and become the Divine Protection over your mind, body, and your soul.

P.S. If you have prayed to receive Jesus, let us know so that we may rejoice and pray for you as you begin your long and fruitful journey with God.
